Hello

This is me! I am an entrepreneur based in San Diego, mother of a 1-year-old, and originally from Norway. Some passions of mine are art, equality, sustainability, and I love to see others shine in their field of expertise.

My Story

Growing up, I was very involved in the Norwegian basketball community and I played on the national team for three years. I started playing at nine years old, after years of watching my mom and older sister play and itching to play myself. Every practice and game felt like it was where I belonged, and I loved everything about the sport and community. Over the years, I became a coach and referee, something I thoroughly enjoyed because it gave me a chance to develop other skill sets such as planning, managing and motivating others, and being a confident decision maker.

During the summer of 2013, I moved to San Diego from Norway to go to school. Since I was 11 years old, it had been a dream of mine to study and play basketball at a U.S. university. And guess what? I got into California State University San Marcos and played for their basketball team for some time - go Cougars! Little did I know that I would end up living in San Diego for the next nine years!

After a couple of years into my studies, I met this amazing guy from San Diego, we fell in love and decided to get married. This, my friends, turned my life upside down! Not only did it change all my plans for the future, but it also meant that I would be apart from my family and friends back in Norway. What we do for love! During this time, I found myself in a multitude of challenges: from missing my "old" life, adjusting to my "new" life, applying for residency in the U.S., to dipping my toes in the American workforce. Due to these challenges, I decided to take a break in my studies until my life was better balanced.

Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of working in many different industries, have many different roles and responsibilities, and collaborating with wonderfully different colleagues. I strongly believe that taking a break from school in order to gain work experience in the U.S. was the best decision for me at that point in my life. I now consider myself not only bilingual (English and Norwegian), but also bicultural.

After a couple of years working, I decided to return to school and finish the education I started. I am proud to say that I graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2020 (during the pandemic!) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Management and Organizations. During these years of school, I had a job as an Operations Analyst for a company in the health industry, and I became the President of the Management Society on campus.

Post graduation, I was very intrigued by entrepreneurship and I wanted to surround myself with female entrepreneurs, which is why I joined Hera Hub - a female focused coworking space and business accelerator. During this time, I immersed myself with knowledge from successful entrepreneurs and did comprehensive research about why businesses fail. While being a part of the Hera Hub community and simultaneously working as an Operations Specialist for a company in the leisure industry, I decided to start my own business.

In spring of 2022, I took a leap and started my consulting business in strategic operations. I wanted to share the knowledge I have gained in my career ever since I learned that few entrepreneurs recognize the value and know-how of this business field. I want every business owner to feel confident in their operations and the inner workings of their business.

Many business owners feel overwhelmed, overworked, exhausted, or that they have no time to do-it-all. I help small to medium size businesses go from cluttered to streamlined through systems, processes, and automations, uniquely designed for their goals. I thoroughly enjoy seeing business owners shine in their field of expertise, which can be achieved with the proper systems and tools.

I would love to learn more about the challenges your business is facing, and to find ways to increase efficiency, cut unnecessary costs, automate repetitive tasks, and set your business' systems up for growth. If you are interested in streamlining your business, go ahead and schedule a free consultation :-)
